Well, I have embarked on the painting journey.  First coat is done on two of my living room walls.  I have to wait until my husband is nearby to do the wall by the stairs, as it involves ladders and heights and things I would rather have another adult in screaming range before tackling.  But it looks good.  Farewell, drab, might-as-well-be-colourless blue, hello Green Tea :)

And, I really must mention this because it's just, well, neat...

Much Music (the Canadian equivalent of MTV) is now playing Buffy the Vampire Slayer episodes daily.  And their add for it?  Calls it the Vampire show that started them all (which we all know, but it's nice that they do, too).  I rather like the thought of a network that caters mainly to teenagers airing Buffy and capturing a whole new generation of fans.

Good luck with the painting ! It's lovely to have 'new ' walls . We should paint our living room too, but gardening is calling ( although this week it's more sitting by the fire because the weather has turned crazy !)

They so need a refresh! I've been wanting to paint since we moved in three years ago! My garden is calling out for help, but it knows me well enough that I think it's calling for somebody else!

Bravo for tackling the painting! My guest room has been 2/3 taped for a year now, with a gallon of 'Foggy Day' sitting in the corner untouched. I kind of hit a wall when I was painting my house.

What colour is Foggy Day? I'm using four different colours and the first two (which are now done) look fantastic. Haha, hit a wall!

Foggy Day is a cool grey. I think it will look awesome when I finally get around to finishing it.

Oooh, that does sound nice! I hope you find time to do it. It's amazing how a little bit of fresh paint can make a place feel so new and fresh.
